Other hardware manufacturers have tried and tried again to emulate the success of the iPod range, but most of the time they have failed miserably, especially those from China which are able to copy or clone the substance, but fail when it comes to ease-of-use. The Oppo S33 seems to be the latest victim, offering a rather decent exterior although it falls flat when it comes to functionality despite featuring a 3" touchscreen display that offers finger tapping with the possibility of swiping support, automatic self-orientation and full-screen photo viewing.
Oppo is launching the new S33 touch screen portable media player in China. The S33 has 4G internal memory and a 3-inch 480×272 touchscreen display. Oppo S33 supports RM/RMVB, MPEG1/2/4, ASF, VOB, DAT, AVI video and MP3, WMA, WAV audio playback as well as image viewing.
The iPod touch-like S33 includes Karaoke function that can remove vocal of MP3 music files. It has built-in battery and uses USB 2.0 interface.
