The i617 runs Windows Mobile 6 and features a QWERTY keyboard for convenient text entry. The Blackjack II also features a front scroll-wheel, positioned around the d-pad for convenient scrolling. The i617 is also a connectivity powerhouse, featuring quad-band GSM support (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and tri-band UMTS with HSDPA (850/1900/2100MHz). The Blackjack II is also equipped with built-in GPS and includes support for AT&T's TeleNav GPS Navigator and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP capability for stereo headsets. The camera has been upgraded to a full 2.0 megapixel with video capture, and the speakerphone has been improved, as well. As mentioned, the SGH-i617 is fully compatible with AT&T's high-speed HSDPA network, including AT&T Video Share, which allows users to share live video while on a phone call.
